This workshop is a project based course focused on learning about the tools available and reflect on thoughts from philosophy, urban planning, computer science, design, and gis. Students in the workshop will be expected to attend guest lectures from invited speakers and framing sessions where we will go over tools, technologies, and techniques for building spatial applications. There will be weekly critique sessions, culminatating in a final design competition. Projects may be completed individually or in small groups. A moderate level of programming experience is suggested, but students from other disciplines (architecture, design, art) are welcome to attend.
