This workshop will offer information about cultural and interpersonal pressures on men and how to cultivate a positive body image in ourselves and others.

Coming Out: What Does This Mean Anyway?

This workshop will explore what it means to come-out as lesbian, bisexual, gay or transgender, whether-or-not it's something you want to/can or should do, and how stereotypes can be confusing when trying to figure out if you fit a label or not (and whether labels are even useful!). We'll also discuss our multiple identities such as race, class, ethnicity, and country of origin and how all of this affects coming-out at MIT, coming-out to parents, friends, and in relationships.
