An introduction to the art of paper-folding. Create elegant sculptures from paper squares, without glue or cutting. We will learn the traditional crane, flowers, some simple animals and fun folds. We will also try wet-folding techniques.

Interested in becoming an origami composer? Impress your friends with original designs. We will discuss traditional bases, point splitting, circle packing, and box pleating, with examples for each.
You should be experienced in folding intermediate to complex origami, and have no trouble following origami diagrams. There will be homework! But we will have fun.
