An intermediate class for students with two to three years of previous dance training. The class content is drawn from traditional and experimental styles, including exploration of early, contemporary, and modern dance approaches. The class begins with a conventional dance warm-up focusing on improving balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. The latter part of the class is devoted to slow, fast, and jumped combinations across the floor, with some work on rhythmic training and improvisation.
