The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Course for children and infants is a modular course that teaches lay rescuers how to prevent, recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for the child and infant victim. Students also learn to recognize breathing difficulties in children and infants (1 to 8 years old). Student Materials (provided by instructor): Heartsaver CPR Text, Barrier Device and completion card (valid for two years).$55.00 ($50.00 MIT Health Plan members, students, and retirees)
