Learn to combine animation, video, and sculpture in a three-dimensional space using techniques perfected by Boston artist Andy Zimmermann. Sessions will cover the process of merging projections with sculptural objects and surfaces to make unified, meaningful artistic installations. Previous computer-based animation and video experience is helpful, but not necessary. Course instructor Andy Zimmermann's multimedia installation, "Cars and Stars," will be on exhibit at the MIT Museum through February 24, 2006.
