Learn about the the sand mandala, an ancient Tibetan artform. Be ready for lots of drawing, as we learn about the basics of mandala design. We will also cover ways of sharing the mandala with the community.
This workshop will be the first in a series of events for Mandala Project 2006 - Aesthetics, Contemplation and Education. This project will be an outreach effort to the Cambridge community to promote meditation and hope for a better world. MIT students will bring the mandala's spiritual and healing attributes to local elementary schools and universities alike. Join us in our effort!
