Judo is an energetic Japanese grappling martial art and Olympic sport that emphasizes maximum efficiency in its techniques (use your opponent's momentum, rather than your own strength) and mutual welfare in its practice (everyone goes home healthy at the end of a fight). The techniques we will be learning this IAP include throws, pins, armlocks, and chokes. Beginners are always welcome. Wear sweats, long-sleeve shirts or a Judo uniform if you own one.
