The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course provides information on how to manage illness and injuries in an infant or child during the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. The course includes four core modules: First Aid Basics, Injuries and Illnesses, Life-Threatening Emergencies and the Chain of Survival, and CPR and AED.
