Japanese animation, or "anime", has a distinct style, but covers a much broader range of genres and audiences than animation in the West. Designed for viewers without much experience with anime, this showing will highlight that diversity by showcasing some of the best shows from a wide range of genres, alternating with brief explanations of important themes, artists, and terminology. Feel free to come for any subset; a detailed schedule is posted on our web site. In Japanese with English subtitles.
