Breakdance 101 & 202

A free class taught by local breaker and professional dance instructor Bboy Jomo.

Breakin' 101 (Mon & Wed)
Learn the fundamentals of breakin'. Footwork, toprock, power moves, and freezes will be introduced and taught. Students must be able to attend all eight sessions to participate. No previous dance experience necessary. Students are also encouraged to attend Imobilare's regular breakin' practice sessions.

Breakin' 202 (Tue & Thu)
Have some previous experience? Learn new dance moves and advanced tricks.

Calling all bboys and bgirls! Come pop, lock, and break! Imobilare is MIT's premier breakdancing and hip hop culture group. We hold four weekly sessions in an open practice format. Whether you are an experienced breaker hoping to hone your skills or you just want to learn, you are welcome to join us. No prior experience necessary.
