Learn how you can benefit the public by moving results of MIT research into societal use via technology licensing, patenting, sponsored research and technology transfer to other research institutions. The process used by MIT’s Technology Licensing Office and the Office of Sponsored Research benefits the public by creating new products and promoting economic development.
We are here to assist YOU, the MIT inventors, in protecting your technology, and in the licensing of that technology to existing companies and startups.
