Do you want to be part of an MIT educational initiative aimed at high school students worldwide? It’s called BLOSSOMS (Blended Learning Open Source Science or Math Studies), an international alliance of educators. Its vision is to develop a free repository of science and math interactive video modules for high school students, initially seeded by MIT faculty and educators in Jordan and Pakistan. The goal is to enhance critical-thinking in high school students and inspire them in science, math and engineering. During IAP, BLOSSOMS is sponsoring a contest for MIT students (undergraduate and graduate) to create designs for video modules. Two winning designs will be taped and included in the repository of BLOSSOMS videos.
