Prereq: None

A go tournament.
Thursday, Jan 28, 2-5 and 6-9pm in student center/room 407 with an hour break for dinner.

Beginner's division runs from 2-5pm, and advanced division will run from 2-5pm and 6-9pm. Format will be four rounds of handicapped games.

Andy Liu 9d (bigbadwolf on KGS) has graciously donated a private lesson as a first place prize. KGS+ subscriptions are available as runner-up prizes.

Preregister by emailing mitgoclub-tournament@mit.edu with your name and approximate strength. (Indicate beginner if you don't know)

Learn how to play Go.
Play go with strong opponents.


There will be introductory lessons for beginners during the first week; the rest of the meetings will focus on game reviews. Attendance at each meeting is not required.

Walther Chen 5d, Edward Kao 6d will review games for both beginners and advanced players on Mondays and Tuesdays.
5k-1d level players will be working with beginners Mon, Tue, Thur.
