The goal of this workshop is to ensure that HR-Partners and supervisors have a better understanding of significant laws and MIT policies and how they are applied in the management of their workforce. This two hour workshop for HR-Partners and DLC managers will focus on compliance with the laws prohibiting unlawful harassment in the workplace as well as MIT’s harassment policy. Participants will learn about the conduct and behaviors that could be construed as workplace harassment, the consequences of engaging in such conduct at work, the responsibilities of managers/supervisors for implementing MIT’S policy and the liabilities for both the manager/supervisor and MIT for failing to do so. The workshop will also offer tips for creating a workplace that is compliant with harassment laws and MIT policy.
