Born from the Charleston dances of the roaring 20’s, the Lindy Hop is a dynamic connection-based partner dance involving athletic movement and fantastic swing Jazz music. This class will start from the basic rhythms, steps, and partner lead-follow dynamics and will build to more sophisticated patterns of both partner and solo movement. This dance is energetic, bouncy, challenging, and very rewarding. No partner, dance experience, or rhythm is required!! Two left feet also accepted.
Register at the Zesiger Center or Alumni/Wang starting December 13th, 2009.
