Mindfulness can be a powerful tool for gaining access to our deepest inner resources for healing and coping with stress. Research indicates that mindfulness can be helpful for improving focus and concentration, reducing stress and anxiety, alleviating depression, and increasing positive emotional states. In this 2-hour session, participants will learn about and experience techniques for cultivating mindfulness, including yoga and meditation. The session will incorporate lecture, guided instruction, and discussion.
