Laughter as a way of releasing stress and boosting the immune system, Laughter Yoga was developed by Hasyayoga Guru Jiten kohi from India. It was made popular as an exercise routine developed by Indian physician Madan Kataria. “Laughter Clubs” now exist all over the world. It doesn’t matter if you’re really laughing or if you’re just pretending to laugh…the therapeutic effects are identical. Come spend an hour laughing! You’ll be glad you did.
