This two hour workshop for HR-Partners and DLC managers will focus on compliance with the laws prohibiting unlawful harassment in the workplace as well as MIT’s harassment policy. Participants will learn about the conduct and behaviors that could be construed as workplace harassment, the consequences of engaging in such conduct at work, the responsibilities of managers/supervisors for implementing MIT’S policy and the liabilities for both the manager/supervisor and MIT for failing to do so. The workshop will also offer tips for creating a workplace that is compliant with harassment laws and MIT policy. Offered by employment law specialists in MIT’s Office of the General Counsel, this workshop may be taken in conjunction with Employment Law Basics for Managers workshop. Register at the URL below.
