The IS&T ATIC (Adaptive Technology Information Center) opens its doors to showcase the latest adaptive technologies for persons with disabilities. This year, some of the technologies we plan to demonstrate are:
• LiveScribe Pulse Smartpen, for taking digital notes and recording audio
• Windows 7 accessibility features
• DAISY digital talking book reading software and players
• Kurzweil 3000, software that provides visual and auditory feedback for increased comprehension
• Bamboo Pen and Touch and other pointing devices
