Davis Projects for Peace is offering a $10,000 fellowship for an MIT undergraduate student project that promotes peace, to be implemented in the summer of 2010, anywhere in the world. The aim is to "help young people launch some immediate initiatives that could bring new thinking to the prospects for peace in the world." MIT will select several compelling proposals to send forward, and at least one is guaranteed to be funded! Think creatively, innovatively, and entrepreneurially -- this is a chance to formulate and test ideas for peace. The deadline to apply is 9:00am on Friday, February 5. Get help developing your ideas, identifying community partners, and crafting your proposal at these consulting sessions. Can’t make these times? Email Alison at hynd@mit.edu to set-up a meeting
