Roll Your Own Sushi / Movie Night
Ven. Tenzin Priyadarshi
Wed Jan 20, 07-09:30pm, NW86-319
No enrollment limit, no advance sign up
Single session event
Join the Buddhist community in rolling, munching, and viewing. Staple sushi making ingredients will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite items. Once dinner is underway, we will watch acclaimed Korean filmmaker Kim Ki-s "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring." Described as "a visually stunning and contemplative piece of work" on review site rottentomatoes.com, this film spans the lives of a Buddhist monk and his disciple who live on a lake in a floating temple.
We will be meeting in the 3rd floor kitchen of Sidney-Pacific Residence (NW86). Let us know if you're coming, so we can let you in the building.
