MIT celebrates its 150th anniversary during spring term 2011, and one of the central events is the FAST Arts Festival. Part of the festival includes a series of light-related physical installations across the MIT campus. This course is an interdisciplinary workshop in which each student will connnect with an ongoing installation project and develop it further individually or as part of a team. Visiting guest speakers, special topical hands-on sessions and individual and group critiques will be spread out over three weekly sessions.
