Change ringing is the traditional British style of ringing bells. We follow mathematical patterns instead of sheet music to ring up to 8 large tower bells with each bell controlled by a single rope. We ring the bells at Church of the Advent and Old North Church in Boston.

We have organized a several open practices during IAP particularly to focus on beginners and provide an in-depth introduction to change ringing and one-on-one instruction.

If you are unable to make one of these sessions but are still interested in learning to ring, please contact us.

Please wear comfortable, warm clothes. No previous musical experience necessary. We often go out to for a bite to eat after practice, and you are welcome to join us.

The Guild of Bellringers is a secular organization.  All are welcome.

All classes will meet in Kendall Square Food Court, outside the COOP and travel to the towers together
