The MIT Judo Club, founded in 1961, is one of the oldest martial arts clubs at MIT. The club is accepting new students during IAP and the beginning of Spring semester. No experience is required or expected. This course is recommended for those who desire to have a great workout while learning safe falls, throws and grappling techniques. The class has three phases: warm up-conditioning, instruction and guided practice.
