Single session event
Prereq: www.myinterfase.com/mit/student

In March 2010 the President signed two laws enacting reforms to the U.S. healthcare system.  Understanding both the open and hidden agendas and predicting the outcome of this legislation on the future of the health care delivery system will be the goal of this session's discussion. Louis Kuchnir, MD, PhD and MIT '87 alum, will address some of the major current and predictable effects of these reforms and how the changes will influence the work of physicians practicing in America. If you are a potential medical student or simply interested in learning more about healthcare reform in America this is the workshop for you.
