Join experienced Yoga Instructor Checka Antifonario for 4, 90 minute workshops designed to help you expand your practice in a focused manner. All levels are welcome; some basic experience with yoga is recommended for the greatest benefit. Each week will include a full-body yoga flow designed to lead to specific depth and focus on one area of your yoga practice. Week one will focus on finding ease and fluidity in backbending postures. Week two will be an exploration and demystification of practicing arm balances in yoga. We will break down the steps towards experiencing the freedom and flight of these challenging but rewarding postures. Week three will focus on the practice of inversions in yoga - there will be plenty of time to work at your own pace and comfort level. Feel the full mind-body therapeutic benefits of turning your world upside down! Week four will address four equally important limbs of yoga, using breathwork (pranayama) and physical postures (asana) as preparation for yogic focus (dharana) and meditation (dhyana).
