Enjoy safe, relaxing, and easy-to-learn Sun style Tai Chi designed for individuals new to exercise and with limited mobility.  This modified set of 12 movements with a focus on balance, weight transference, breath and relaxation can be done sitting or standing.  Taught by certified instructors who emphasize safety, comfort and stability, this program is based on the world-renowned, evidence-based set from Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis and Health series, endorsed by the Arthritis foundation and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Participants must wear sneakers or flat, well-fitting shoes. Be sure to check with your health care provider before participating in this or any program of progressive exercise.

Instructors are certified with the Tai Chi for Health Institute (http://taichiforhealthinstitute.org/).
