Prereq: No experience necessary. Geared toward beginners.

This course involves designing, building, and flying radio controlled fixed wing aircraft. Students will learn how to:

Recognize and recall alternative configurations of fixed wing aircraft;
Estimate/predict performance, stability, and controllability of fixed wing aircraft;
Generate and implement details of a design including structure, propulsion, and control surfaces;
Evaluate and implement options for fabrication including at least laser cutting of balsa, wire cutting of foam, three dimensional printing, and covering.
