MIT’s Central Utilities Plant (CUP) uses a highly efficient cogeneration system to provide electricity, steam heat, and chilled water to more than 100 buildings on campus—enabling innovative research while also helping MIT achieve its commitment to reducing greenhouse gases. Here’s a chance to learn more about the complexity of MIT’s energy infrastructure from the engineers dedicated to powering MIT.
