Chen style, the oldest of the major tai chi styles, features lower stances, spiraling movements, energetic bursts with both slow and quick tempo. This class plays with the Chen 36 form.

Instructors teach the group at a comfortable pace with guided repetitions, breaks as needed, and independent practice.  Participants must wear sneakers or flat, well-fitting shoes. Be sure to consult with your doctor or medical professional before participating in this program.

4 total sessions: Thursdays, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1.  6:00 to 7:30 p.m; Room 8-219.  Participants are welcome at any session, as we will review those forms taught in prior weeks.
