This event will feature a panel of alumnae with a variety of career experiences including: engineering, science, entrepreneurship, and consulting. A presentation by the panel will be followed by a group of informal roundtable discussions. Each table discussion will be led by an MIT alumna and a variety of issues will be addressed, such as: balancing a career and a family, women in the workplace, alternative career paths, attending grad school and financial planning. The goal of the seminar is to give current MIT students the chance to learn about women's experiences after graduation from alumnae who have faced the challenges that are waiting in the "real world." This program is sponsored by AMITA, the Association of MIT Alumnae. This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. To signup, please contact: Amy Fienup, (617) 253-6144 x133 (w); (617) 491-3066 (h); ajfienup@alum.mit.edu
