Professor William G. Thilly
No limit but advance sign up required
Participants welcome at individual sessions (series)
Prereq: none
The new Division of Bioengineering and Environmental Health contains a world renowned doctoral program and research programs probing the chemical and biological causes of diseases in humans. The faculty anticipate creating an MIT minor in Toxicology and Environmental Health to complement undergraduate majors in the School of Engineering. The goal of the Minor would be scientific literacy for MIT graduates who will take leadership roles in research and management as their careers progress. In this six session presentation, individual professors will present overviews of the areas proposed for inclusion in the new curriculum. Advance sign-up is preferred for each lecture
