
IDEAS Is Hiring!
Are you interested in supporting the development of MIT student projects that address concrete problems in communities around the world while fostering great experiential education opportunities? The IDEAS Competition seeks a graduate student to assist with all aspects of outreach to the MIT community and campus event planning for the 2008/09 competition cycle. Experience with event management and excellent organization and communication skills a must. A knack for taking the initiative combined with resourcefulness, persistence and a collaborative approach highly valued.

Winners of the 7th Annual MIT IDEAS Competition Announced
The winners of the seventh annual MIT IDEAS Competition were announced at the May 1 Awards Ceremony at MIT. The competition, a joint project of the MIT Public Service Center and the Edgerton Center, encourages and celebrates innovations that benefit communities worldwide. IDEAS winners use the award funds to implement the projects they develop, often leveraging additional resources to expand the benefits to the communities they serve.
