Welcome to the homepage for 6.370, the MIT ACM/IEEE Chapter's
annual programming competition during IAP. This year we are
offering competitors a chance to implement the artificial
intelligence for an army of virtual robots in a realtime
strategy game.
6.370 has now fallen into shadow. Thank you for your interest.
Mad props go to our sponsors
for their generous support of 6.370.

The source code the contest software, including the finals map
and some other goodies, are now available for download.
6370-source.jar, 7.1 MB
You can also view the much-maligned, often-rejected
MIT spotlight graphic for 6.370.
Finally, if you are interested in implementing your own ideas about
software/games or think you can make 6.370 better
next year, please consider running for the office of 6.370 chair
at the next officers' election. You can find more information
about joining the MIT ACM/IEEE Chapter at
http://web.mit.edu/ieee/www or
by e-mailing ieee@mit.edu.

Results of the final tournament are
now available, with adjustments for the
map bug and other technical difficulties during the live event.
The webcast has also been archived.
Thank you to everyone who showed up to the live event, ate our
food, and took our prizes home. We couldn't have spent that money without
you.
Note that the deadline for beating the reference player is
1700h on Friday, 1 Feburary 2002. The source code for the contest
software will be released at that time.
