This was the first time that the vehicle had been assembled, and served as a quick check before painting the parts. The sheet-metal components of the body were then painted using Krylon spray paint. The wheels were finished with Krylon Fusion - a special spray-paint which bonds to plastic by melting the surface. Lettering was applied using dry-transfer decals and then protected by a layer of clear-coat paint. One new experiment I performed was playing with the vehicle's color scheme on the solid model before committing to a set of paints.
