The MIT Center for Real Estate summer institute of professional development courses helps practitioners supplement their knowledge of the field.

Center for Transportation & Logistics

The Center for Transportation & Logistics takes part in several executive transportation courses, including Logistics Analysis for Carriers and Shippers, Modeling and Simulation for Dynamic Transportation Management Systems, and Public Transportation Service and Operations Planning.

MIT Professional Education

MIT Professional Education is the gateway to lifelong learning from the globally-renowned faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Under the umbrella of the School of Engineering, MIT Professional Education offers science and engineering professionals a range of certificate programs.

  • The Advanced Study Program enables working professionals to enroll in graduate-level MIT courses and programs of study funded by their work organizations. Since 1963, The Advanced Study Program has served hundreds of Fellows, attending from more than 72 countries.

  • The Career Reengineering Program is an educational and career development program designed for professionals who wish to re-enter their fields. This ten-month, part-time program includes a fall semester course plus an internship or research project.

  • Short Programs are in many cases taught by professors who have pioneered the very theories they teach. The students are your colleagues in business and industry. The curriculum of 40-50 courses is high-level and presented in an intense format, for those with little or no time to spare. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) available.

MIT Sloan Executive Education

The MIT Sloan School of Management offers an exceptional portfolio of executive programs ranging from two days to twenty months in length. System Design and Management Program (SDM)

The System Design and Management Program is a graduate-level academic and research program sponsored by MIT's Sloan School of Management, the School of Engineering, and over 30 industry partners.
