Private tours are typically confirmed 1-2 weeks before the proposed date of the tour.

All tours are conducted in English. The MIT Information Center does not offer translation services.

The private tours do not include an Undergraduate Admissions Information Session. By selecting the session above your request will be forwarded to the Admissions Office and you will be contacted separately by an Admissions representative.

Private tours are not conducted during several times of the year. These include, but are not limited to:

Legal US holidays

Winter Break (mid-December to December 31st)

Spring Vacation (last week of March)

The month of April

Commencement Period: mid-May to mid-June

We will make every effort to accommodate your private tour request. However, the private tours are always subject to the availability of MIT's student tour guides. If we are unable to secure a tour guide you are still welcome to visit campus. Please download the self-guided route.
