Request a high school group tour

If you plan to bring a large group (10 or more) of prospective students to campus for a tour, please complete the form below two to six weeks* prior to your visit. We will make every effort to accommodate your group tour request, but please note that the tours are always subject to the availability of MIT's student tour guides.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of requests we receive, we are only able to accommodate group tours for high school students.

* Form must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of requested tour date, but no more than six weeks in advance. Thank you.

High school group tours are typically confirmed 1-2 weeks before the proposed date of the tour.

All tours are conducted in English. The MIT Information Center does not offer translation services.

The high school group tours do not include an Undergraduate Admissions Information Session. By selecting the session above your request will be forwarded to the Admissions Office and you will be contacted separately by an Admissions representative.

During certain times of the year, high school group tours are not conducted. These include, but are not limited to:

Legal holidays

Winter Break (mid-December through December 31st)

Mid-March through the end of April

Commencement Period: mid-May to mid-June

Final two weeks of August

We will make every effort to accommodate your tour request. However, the group tours are always subject to the availability of MIT's student tour guides. If we are unable to secure a tour guide you are still welcome to visit campus. Please download the self-guided route.
