The Bush Room (10-105) may be used by MIT departments, offices, or groups for MIT-focused events. The Events and Information Center manages and schedules this space.
The first step is to email the Events and Information Center to ascertain whether the Bush Room is available on the date you need. Please send an email to bushroom@mit.edu with the date and time of your function, the name of the group to use the space, and your contact information. You will be answered via email and if the space is available, we will send you a PDF reservation form*. Please complete this as soon as possible. Note that we do not “hold” space pending receipt of your reservation form. Reservations are not in place until we have entered the reservation request information into our EMS scheduling system. When your reservation has been accepted and entered in the system, you will receive an email confirmation. Please send your reservation request immediately after you find out whether the space is available: it will not be held until the process is complete.
*If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional, you will be able to complete the PDF on your computer, save it, and submit it via email. If you do not, you will need to print it and complete it by hand, then either scan it for emailing or deliver the paper copy to the Events and Information Center (7-121).
The fixed poster display cases in the Infinite Corridor may be reserved by members of the MIT community. To request space, please complete the PDF application. Poster dimensions must be 11x17"; paper may be 100# cover stock. Please ensure that your design is in a portrait (vertical) orientation: landscape (horizontal) posters will not fit in these display cases. Questions? Please email us.
You can advertise a special event on campus or convey news of interest to the MIT community by listing it on the LED display in Bosworth's Café in Lobby 7. Bosworth's customers could be reading about your event as they make their beverage selections. Please call Lee Corbett for more information at 617-253-2003 or lcorbett@mit.edu.
