Gann Academy InvenTeam will invent a weight stabilizing compact stretcher to be used by search and rescue teams. The device will incorporate weight stabilizing technology, light-weight and cost effective materials to create a stretcher that can be easily carried over long distances and rough terrain. The stretcher will also reduce the number of emergency workers and effort needed to get victims to a place where they can receive adequate medical attention. The final product will be patentable and affordable.
