Desalination drip irrigation system
The Landmark School InvenTeam invented a working prototype of a Desalinization/Seedling Drip Irrigation Unit. This unit is projected to be site built by individuals or villages in emergent nations, particularly in areas of minimal annual rainfall. The unit may also be used as a water purification system for potable water. The intent of this design is to allow individuals to build units using local recycled parts. Testing prototypes are projected to cost approximately $200 US dollars to build, using store-bought parts initially, with a final prototype made from local recycled parts to simulate on-site construction of the product for the end-user. The projected cost to the end-user will be between $15 US dollars and $50 US dollars. |
