
Benjamin Temkin is a Professor in the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) Mexico. He has taught at Tel-Aviv University and at the Hebrew University in Israel. He received his BA in economics from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico, his MA from the Hebrew University, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University, and was a Senior Associate Fellow at St. Antony´s College at Oxford. Dr. Temkin´s fields of research are political economy, political sociology and political psychology. Presently he is carrying out research projects on issues relating to informal employment and globalization, as well as on electoral behavior and politics.
