Dear Fellow Internationals,
We hope this semester went well and
you are enjoying your holidays!
This past semester, the
International StudentsÕ Association held several events although, the Annual
Fall International Cruise
could
not be held due to lack of funding. But, we will be having the International
Cruise this coming spring semester!
In the beginning of the term we
sponsored a trip to the Six Flags Theme Park, which was quite successful and
enjoyable.
As a way of support and
understanding towards the international community at MIT, we donated towards
the
cause to help the victims of the earthquake in Pakistan this past
year. The Annual MikeÕs Pastries
Finals study break
was
once again a grand success! For
all of you who could not attend our events, there are many more next term such
as the International Fair, the International Cruise, study breaks and the like.
Also, elections for the
International Students Association (ISA) executive committee are also coming
up. We will keep you posted about the exact dates and proceedings.
Please do give us feedback and
suggestions for events and do send us your concerns. We are here to support all internationals and integrate the
international community at MIT.
Therefore, it is with your feedback and help that we can progress and
make this a stronger community and make some ÔnoiseÕ on campus!
We hope to host many more events
and activities with your support!
All the best!
Best regards,
Anjani Trivedi & Rabeel H.
