Dear Fellow Internationals,
We hope this semester is going well!
Over this year, the International Students’ Association held several events
In the beginning of the year we sponsored a trip to the Six Flags Theme Park,
which was quite successful and enjoyable.
As a way of support and understanding towards the international community at
MIT, we donated towards the cause to help the victims of the earthquake in
Pakistan this past year. The Annual Mike’s Pastries Finals study break was once
again a grand success! We recently organized the annual International Cruise 2006, which went
off well. For all of you who could not attend our events, there are
many more coming up later this academic year such as the International Fair, the Thanksgiving Dinner,
and various study breaks.
Also, by-elections for the positions of Social Chairs (2) and webmaster for International Students Association (ISA) executive
committee are also coming up. We will keep you posted about the exact dates and
proceedings.
Please do give us feedback and suggestions for events and do send us your
concerns. We are here to support all internationals and integrate the
international community at MIT. Therefore, it is with your feedback and help
that we can progress and make this a stronger community and make some ‘noise’ on
campus!
We hope to host many more events and activities with your support!
All the best!
Best regards,
Anjani Trivedi & Rabeel H. Warraich
