Finding a Cure for Post-traumatic Epilepsy

Despite great efforts made during the course of the last
decades to develop antiepileptogenic treatments, no treatment
that may prevent the onset of epilepsy induced by head injury
has been identified. The seminar will introduce the scientific
problems associated with this reseach, and novel models,
approaches and technologies that will aid in the search for
better treatments. Some of the current technological limitations
will be highlighted.
All seminars take place at 500 Technology Square (MIT
Building NE47), First Floor Seminar Room. Any member of
the MIT or Army communities is welcome to attend. For more
