Participate in the ISN
The Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies (ISN) at MIT is
seeking industrial partners to join its mission to provide
unprecedented protection and survivability to the individual
Soldier through nanotechnology. Industry partners
will collaborate with the ISN to:
- Perform cutting edge research to discover and enable
producibility of nanotechnologies that impart revolutionary
protection and survivability in a dramatically lighter weight uniform.
- Accelerate transitioning of ISN inventions to
enable large quantity, affordable production of new technologies
for the soldier.
Industry partners can participate in the ISN Consortium
at three different levels, based
on the size of the company and the degree of collaboration
desired: Major Industrial Members, Small Business Industrial
Members, and Interested Industrial Participants. Each member
will bring enthusiasm for the ISN vision, one or more needed
competencies in research or commercialization, and financial
co-investment. Benefits to companies
who participate in the ISN include access to new technologies,
collaboration with MIT researchers, and opportunities to compete
for substantial Army funding for transitions (6.2 funds).
Companies wishing to collaborate with the ISN should send an email
to Outreach Director Franklin Hadley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
