The ISO will be closed on Tuesday, August 4th for an office retreat.
Post-completion Off-campus Work Permission

Students who plan to graduate this semester and would like to work in the U.S. after graduation should apply for post-completion of degree Optional Practical Training.
All new incoming students are required by immigration law to go through an immigration session with the ISO upon arrival. Please remember to also complete your iMIT pre-arrival online check-in.

MIT. The ISO serves all incoming and currently enrolled international
students at the Institute. The ISO assists students in maintaining their legal status in the United States, provides support for their dependents, and promotes interaction with and integration into the MIT community at large.
ISO Walk-In Appointments Suspended from August 17th to September 3, 2015 The ISO will temporarily suspend walk-in hours on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm due to incoming student orientation. Please call the ISO to make scheduled appointments with an advisor.
Newly Redesigned I-20 Form
Beginning June 26, 2015, any new produced Form I-20 will be in a new redesigned format. All F-1 students and F-2 dependents will be required to have a new version of the form by July 1, 2016. [Read more]
