Fall 2015 Registration Deadline
October 7, 2015
All international students are required by immigration regulations to register full-time within the mandatory 30-day registration reporting period. This term, the deadline is October 7, 2015.

Columbus Day Holiday - ISO Closed
October 12, 2015
The ISO will be closed in observance of Columbus Day for an Institute-wide holiday.

Welcome to the International Students Office (ISO) at MIT. The ISO serves all incoming and currently enrolled international students at the Institute. The ISO assists students in maintaining their legal status in the United States, provides support for their dependents, and promotes interaction with and integration into the MIT community at large.

Newly Redesigned I-20 Form – Beginning June 26, 2015, any newly printed Form I-20 will be in a new format. [Read more]

Summer/Fall Travel – If you plan to travel this upcoming season, please read our travel advisory page to be prepared for re-entry to the US and check your I-94 arrival/departure form for accurate entry information when you return.

Practical Training – If you need work permission after graduation, remember to apply for Optional Practical Training or Academic Training before you graduate.
