IS&T Web Site Style Guide

Typography

There are two main typefaces used throughout the IS&T web site: Rotis Sans and Verdana. Rotis Sans is used for graphics such as tabs, sidebar/menu headings, and buttons, while Verdana is used for the text of the Web pages such as menus, headings, and HTML body copy.

Type Usage
Rotis Sans: If you would like a customized Rotis Sans sidebar title image created for you (or other custom images using the Rotis Sans font), contact the IS&T Web Site Team.

Verdana: Use the Verdana typeface for all non-graphical content on your site. However, since Verdana is specified in the cascading style sheet, you will not need to specify font tags (e.g., <FONT FACE="Verdana></FONT>) in the HTML code of your documents.
