Quality Assurance Team

Mission

To communicate and promote standard quality practices throughout IS&T.

Quality Assurance assists project teams in the successful creation, establishment, and enforcement of the standards and processes recommended by MIT project methodology.

Principles

  • The MIT Quality Assurance philosophy ensures a reliable, stable, predictable computing environment for the Institute's administrative systems of record.
  • The Quality Assurance processes ensure that the computing environment represents and supports the various business processes of the Institute in performing the day-to-day operations.
  • The Quality Assurance processes require careful planning, cooperation and assistance from the business areas and end-users to be effective. It is an ongoing process responsive to changes in business processes.
