IS&T encourages members of the MIT community to contribute podcasts and other audio downloads of content of value to the MIT community. We are pleased to collect these contributions and to promote understanding and use of this emerging communications mode.

IS&T will soon be rolling out a more robust podcast indexing service, and we are working on standards for tagging to make content easily accessible and searchable.

Two types of submissions are encouraged and welcomed:

  • Submissions that are related to MIT's core mission of teaching, research, service, and community. Submissions from Departments, Labs, and Centers are especially pertinent as are MIT-sponsored events such as lectures, programs, or other presentations.

  • Submissions from members of the MIT community that are more informal, ad hoc, and open. These submissions can be directly added via the IS&T Podcast Wiki.

Note: All submissions must be free of copyright infringement.
